Atalanta reject €50m bid from Manchester United for Ederson. The Brazilian midfielder has been a key player for Atalanta since joining Bergamo from Salernitana in 2022 and was part of the team that won the Europa League last season.

Latest Sport Italia reveals that Atalanta have rejected a €50 million offer from Manchester United to sign Ederson.

The UFABET report goes on to state that Atalanta are adamant that they are ready to make it clear that the Brazilian midfielder is not for sale and are looking to keep the 25-year-old at the club this season.

The main reason is that the club is preparing to part ways with Ten Kop Meiners soon, which means that the Bergamo team does not want to lose two core players in the same market because it would be difficult to find a new replacement.

That resulted in the Red Devils’ €50m bid being rejected. With reports in France suggesting the English giants are once again serious about signing PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

Ederson cost €22.9m to purchase from Salernitana in 2022. But he was a very different player before starting work with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

The 25-year-old has two senior caps for Brazil and is under contract until June 2027.
